Wijnen Moniez was looking for a solution: an easy-to-use tool that would help both staff and guests select the ideal wine to pair with each dish.

1. B2B – Restaurant Dashboard
A smart tool for restaurant owners:
- Easily manage the wine assortment from Wijnen Moniez’s selection.
- Set prices and upload menus.
- Save time with an algorithm that automatically matches dishes with wines.
This algorithm, developed in close collaboration with Wijnen Moniez’s wine experts, ensures seamless wine pairing, even without deep knowledge of wines.
2. B2C – User-Friendly Guest Interface
An intuitive experience at the table:
- Guests select their dish via a simple interface.
- The app immediately suggests the perfect wine pairing.
- The mobile-friendly design allows guests to use the app easily on their own devices.
A game-changer for the catering industry
Within the first few months of launch, a few pioneers within the industry adopted the app, receiving enthusiastic feedback from both staff and guests.What started as a tool for staff to use on tablets quickly evolved. Guests began using the app themselves at their tables, prompting us to add QR codes to restaurant menus, making the app even more accessible.
The ultimate compliment? Guests started asking for the app in other restaurants: “Can we use this here too?”
