Purple Panda is a digital agency that helps small and medium-sized enterprises conquer their market with a hands-on, 100%-committed approach to digital marketing and digital development.
We are looking for talented people to join our team to help us serve our growing client base.
Your profile
You have more than 2 years experience in developing websites / web platforms. You are able to understand client needs, customer journeys and to create an online expierence that will 'wow' your visitors.
You're not a designer, but if one page is missing from the wireframes you don't go 404.
You're committed to the results of your clients, oh, and you're excited to join our monthly pizza & beer thursday 🍕.
Your Task
As a web developer you will help us develop websites and limited online web platforms for our clients. You will get support from our team including our graphic designer and software engineer.
Your abilities

Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

You master front-end technologies like HTML5 / SCSS / javascript / jQuery

You know one or more back-end technologies (PHP / NodeJS / ...)

You know how to integrate a CMS (Wordpress / Headless CMS)

You what API's are and how to use them
-
You're not satisfied until your page speed score is >90 and your product looks great on smartphones, tablets, desktops (and even TV screens)

You know how to make your product SEO-proof

You know how to use Git

BONUS: you know front-end frameworks like React / Vue / Angular

BONUS: you know JAMSTACK technologies (Gatsby / Next.js / Nuxt)

BONUS: you know how to use figma to create crispy designs

BONUS: You have expierence outside of webdevelopment (creating chatbots, scrapers, ...)
