GA4 Migration – The Ultimate Guide

Downloads

By now you have probably heard of Google Analytics, and what’s going on when it comes to the newest and latest version of this – called GA4 (Google Analytics 4).

In a nutshell.

A lot of people are using (and love) Universal Analytics, which is the current version of Google Analytics. However Google has been polishing their newest version, Google Analytics 4, for a while now and they are expecting us to switch over soon.

They recently announced that UA properties will stop receiving hits as soon as July 1, 2023. So there’s not much time left.

We recommend everyone to set-up their GA4 properties as soon as possible.

What’s new in GA4?

We are not simply talking about a redesign of Universal Analytics; GA4 is an entirely new product & new philosophy on tracking.

This new update is moving businesses forward into a future which is less reliant on cookies and more reliant on AI and Machine Learning to gain insights about user behavior and conversions across devices

Next to that the update comes with a redesigned User Interface

If you are used to UA the switch might be intimidating especially since some key features aren’t available yet in GA4. But on the flip side there are some new cool features to explore. We recommend moving over and staying with the times! Change is always scary, but trust us, everything will be OK 😇

How to migrate to GA4?
